A church from the 1960s, designed by Nuno Teotónio Pereira and Nuno Portas. An innovative solution for the time was the materiality of the ensemble, expressed in apparent concrete, conferring a strong identity and a simple character at several levels, including the crypt, the wide church and remaining spaces. It has tiles, paintings and sculptures recovered from the ancient parish church, which was demolished. The church has been awarded the Valmor Prize in 1975 and is classified as national monument since 2010.
