It was founded by the Holy Queen Isabel and initially dedicated to St. Vincent. In this temple the Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit, close to the leprosarium (to house patients suffering from leprosy), was also founded by this monarch. Some historians defend that this temple originated during the Visigoth period. It’s of one nave and houses the Parish Museum of Óbidos.
