The church was dedicated in 1954 and became the parish seat in 1971. With a simple and traditional design, the church offers as main elements of interest the wall painting by Domingos Rebelo depicting the Holy Family and the set of twelve stain glass windows by Júlio Pomar, representing the Patron saint, the archangels and saints.
