Inaugurated in 2011, the Church of Saint Francis Xavier is the seat of the parish of Restelo, created in 1959. The church, with its contemporary shape, is inspired in the vessels of the Discoveries and in the missionary life of its patron, named the Apostle of the East. The exterior shape of the hull of a vessel is kept in the curved lines of the interior.
