This church, under the invocation of the Jesuit from Lisbon, was planned by Vasco Morais Pinheiro and was inaugurated in 1955. The main façade is distinguished by its form of a pronounced gable, in which pontificate, over the portico, the image of the patron and, over the large window, the coat of arms of Cardinal Cerejeira. Inside, the walls are entirely covered by polychrome tile wainscotings and by several pedestals with ceramic images. The church keeps part of the heritage of the demolished Church of Our Lady of the Conception, such as the three altarpieces, the Crucifix and the image of Our Lady of the Conception.
