This hermitage was built in the second half of the 18th Century and is located in the sloping street over the valley of Alcântara. The stonework altarpiece of the chancel hosts the throne in painted and gilded wood carving and is topped by an aureole with an empty cross, which represents the invocation of the hermitage.
